Bibione-Bevazzana-San Michele al Tagliamento-Fossalta di Portogruaro-Teglio Veneto-Bibione
A circular route that, from the roundabout at the entrance to Bibione in Bevazzana, reaches the centre of San Michele, cycling along the bank of the Tagliamento River. A journey to discover a well-preserved natural environment: the river park is an invaluable ecological resource that features thick vegetation that testifies the meeting between continental and Mediterranean climate. Alders, ferns, white willows, water lentils and marsh reeds, where you can see specimens such as moorhens and mallards. Continuing after San Michele in the direction of San Giorgio, you can admire the remains of Villa Mocenigo-Ivancich, witness to the love story between Ernest Hemingway and Countess Adriana Ivancich. We then take the state road that leads to Fossalta to reach the village of Alvisopoli with its eponymous wood, today a WWF oasis (which can be visited by appointment). Before returning to Bibione you continue to Teglio Veneto, where you can visit Prati delle Pars Oasis, the habitat for over 100 species of insects.
